I am currently obsessed with this week's artist spotlight: Rae Morris. I often cruise IG (Instagram) and Pinterest looking at makeup inspiration and I came across this gorgeous image from Australian makeup artist Rae Morris. So of course I started researching Rae and immediately went to my local library and checked out every single one of her books. I was not only inspired by her story but also motivated to step up my goals for my career in makeup artistry.
Rae Morris has some of the most flawless and creative work that I have ever seen.I LOVE LOVE LOVE that she is not afraid to push the limits and use vibrant colors. To read her story and know that she was thrust into the world of makeup artistry because she just happened to be putting lipgloss on THE Naomi Campbell when paparazzi arrived is amazing. I'm not so naive to believe that she was not in some way prepared, but it just shows you that if you always stay ready you don't have to get ready when an opportunity presents itself.

- Believes in giving back - You can spend "a day with Rae" learning her techniques to creating the perfect look
- Brushes, Brushes, Brushes - Rae has created her own line of brushes including her new magnetic brush range line (I need to get my hands on them)
- Beautiful work - Her images speak for themselves. She really does have captivating creations
